SEC Baseball Recaps (March 20)

sec-baseball-logoSeveral SEC teams were suffering from opening weekend hangover as Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina and Tennessee all dropped non-conference games on Tuesday.

Three games were affected by weather. Arkansas at Charlotte was cancelled due to weather. Florida and Vanderbilt rescheduled their games to Wednesday. Florida will host Jacksonville on Wednesday, while Vanderbilt and Belmont will meet at First Tennessee Park in Nashville.

Kentucky belted seven home runs in a 20-4 blowout win over Xavier. Keegan McGovern had two home runs and five RBIs in Georgia’s 12-2 win at Georgia State. The Bulldogs have won eight of nine games overall.
