CWS Capsule: Washington Huskies

UW is playing in its first-ever CWS. The Huskies are the 117th different team to play at the CWS.

CWS Capsule: Oregon State Beavers

CWS Capsule: North Carolina Tar Heels

The Tar Heels are the No. 6 national seed. North Carolina is making its 11th College World Series appearances. UNC lost to Oregon State in the CWS Championship series in 2006 and 2007.

Singer Wins 2018 Dick Howser Trophy

Howser TrophyOMAHA, Neb. – Florida junior right-hander Brady Singer is the 32nd recipient of the Dick Howser Trophy, presented by The Game Headwear, as college baseball’s Player of the Year. The announcement was made on Friday morning live on MLB Network.
