College Football Season Opens in Landover

Washingint MonumentWe are one month into the college football season, so I thought I’d catch up on my busy fall schedule.Can you believe the first month of the season ends today?

The 2018 season marks my 49th season attending college football games. Yes, we start young in Southeastern Conference country. This year also marks my 35th season covering college football, either as a Media Relations staffer or network TV statistician.

SEC releases 2019 football schedule


The Southeastern Conference announced the football schedules for all 14 SEC schools for the 2019 season.

With 14 playing weekends, the 2019 schedule includes two open dates for each team and conference contests scheduled each week.

Each SEC team will play eight conference football games to include six games against division opponents and two games against non-division opponents. One of the non-division opponents will be a permanent annual opponent and the other non-division opponent will rotate each year. Continue reading “SEC releases 2019 football schedule”

Phillies Prospect Spins Playoff No-Hitter

Detroit Tigers Announcers Done for Season

FOX Sports DetriotFOX Sports Detroit has replaced Detroit Tigers announcers Mario Impemba and Rod Allen for the remainder of the season.
