SEC Baseball Recaps (Saturday, April 28)

SIUE Player.JPGArkansas, Florida, Georgia and Ole Miss all posted series-clinching wins on Saturday.

Arkansas scored four runs in the sixth inning, highlighted by Jack Kenley’s 2-run single to beat Alabama 7-3. Florida erased a three-run first inning deficit by scoring six runs in the fourth inning en route to a 12-3 win over Auburn. Nick Horvath ripped a three-run double in the decisive fourth inning. Georgia scored four runs in the second and fourth innings for a 12-4 win over Tennessee. Keegan McGovern hit a three-run home run.  Ole Miss scored five runs in the seventh inning, highlighted by Thomas Dillard’s game-winning 3-run home run to defeat LSU 9-8.  LSU reliever Caleb Gilbert gave up all five runs in the inning.  Continue reading “SEC Baseball Recaps (Saturday, April 28)”
